How to Add Students & Use the Pipeline

Open Students, click Add Student, enter their details and target country/program, assign an agent, and the student appears in your pipeline — move them through stages as they progress to enrollment.

4 min read

Every student in Relently flows through a visual pipeline tailored to study-abroad stages. Adding a student kicks off automatic tasks and keeps their documents, deadlines, and conversations in one place.

Add and manage a student

  1. Open the Students section and click Add Student.
  2. Enter their name, email, phone, and target country / university / program.
  3. Assign an agent to own the student.
  4. Save — a Document Collection task is created automatically.
  5. Use the Pipeline view to move students between stages as they progress.
Each stage change can trigger automations — for example, moving a student to “Visa Applied” creates a visa-tracking task. See Set up automations.

Next, upload and verify their documents.

Frequently asked questions

Can I drag students between pipeline stages?

You can change a student’s stage from the pipeline and from the student profile; status changes trigger the relevant automations.

Who can see a student record?

Admins and managers see all students; an agent sees the students assigned to them; a sub-agent sees only the students they referred.

What happens automatically when I add a student?

A document-collection task is created and the assigned agent is notified. Further automations fire as the student moves through stages.
